Welcome to Patience Enahoro Believe Foundation

Providing Inspiration and training for greatness

Who We Are

The Patience Enahoro Believe Foundation is a faith-based not-for-profit organisation committed to:

  • Inspiring young people
  • Promoting careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
  • Creating public awareness on Sustainability

INSPIRATION

We motivate and coach young people to become great achievers in life. We envision a world of possibilities where young people are inspired and equipped to pursue their dreams, overcome limitations, achieve their full potential and become great contributors to their communities, nations and the world. We aim to break mental inhibitions to success and set young people on a growth path to outstanding achievements.

STEM

We encourage girls to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) as well as support female STEM professionals. For students, we showcase the importance and contributions of these careers, stimulate interest in their related fields of study and encourage progression into professional practice. For female practitioners, we share learnings on industry and gender-based issues and also provide counselling and mentoring for building successful careers.

SUSTAINABILITY

We create awareness on the various Sustainability challenges of our time and the collective efforts required on the individual, corporate and governmental fronts to resolve them. We seek to increase public knowledge on the social, economic and environmental issues affecting the wellbeing of both people and the planet. Our awareness campaigns provide us with a basis for a call to action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

What We Do

Our programmes include:

School “Believe Projects”:

These are outreaches in primary and secondary schools that inspire students to become great achievers in life. The focus is to help them recognise and overcome barriers that could hinder success and achievement of their full potential. The ultimate goal is to set ablaze fire in their minds for positive change and give them practical steps to help them dream big, believe in themselves, pursue their dreams and become notable contributors, leaders and world changers. The believe Projects typically include competitions and awards.

University conferences:

These are organised specifically for female science and engineering university students, to empower them in their chosen discipline and prepare them for successful practice. It typically includes presentations on technology topics, panel sessions, competitions, motivational sessions, career guidance and counselling.

Hands-on workshops:

We organise small groups of age-appropriate hands-on experiments and practical activities in science and technology for primary and secondary school students. These programs stimulate creativity in the youngsters and increase their interest in STEM.

Community “Believe” projects:

We work collaboratively with churches, academic institutions, community groups, professional association and other NGOs to deliver educative presentations at youth and women empowerment programmes.

Virtual Support Series:

We provide relevant contents for students and professionals via online live events, webinars, vlogs and blogs, as it relates to our focal areas of Inspiration and STEM careers.
